How Extruct AI, Inc. handles personal data in connection with Grip.

1. Who we are
Extruct AI, Inc. ("we", "us") operates Grip, including its websites, software, and services (the "Service"). In this policy, "you" means a person whose personal data we handle. We are the controller of the personal data described under "Data about people who use the Service or our website" and "Professional profile data". Our contact details are at the end of this policy.
For other personal data our customers process through the Service, such as the messages in the accounts they connect and the lists they upload, our customer is the controller and we process it on their behalf. Questions about that data should go to the customer. We may pass on requests we receive.
2. Data about people who use the Service or our website
- Account data: name, email address, organization, and role.
- Sign-in data: if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and account identifier from that provider, and use them to sign you in and to identify your account.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser, and records of how the Service is used.
- Communications: messages you send us.
- Billing data: handled by our payment provider.
- Website: if you submit your email on our website, we collect that email.

Providing account data is necessary to use the Service.
4. Professional profile data
To provide the Service, we process professional profile information about people who appear in our customers' data, such as name, headline, current and past positions, education, location, and public posts and reactions. This data comes from publicly available sources, the accounts our customers connect, the lists our customers upload, and data providers. We use it to provide the Service to our customers, on the basis of our legitimate interest in offering, and our customers' legitimate interest in using, a service for professional communication.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data with:
- our customers, for professional profile data
- service providers that host, operate, and support the Service, including infrastructure, communications, error-monitoring, data, and AI service providers
- integrations and applications our customers choose to connect
- professional advisers, authorities, or others where required by law or to protect rights and safety
- a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States and process data there and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. 7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including providing the Service, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations, and then delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise a right, email us at the contact address below. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
9. Cookies
The Service uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as the cookie that keeps you signed in.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed. Where the law requires, we will notify you of material changes.
